Brewer Physical Therapy Providers
“I became a physical therapist because I wanted to improve patients’ quality of life and allow them to return to the activities that make them happy, like participating in sports, working, or playing with their children and grandchildren.
I enjoy making rehabilitation a positive experience for my patients. The approach I take is very hands-on, with an emphasis on educating and encouraging patients to play an active role in their recovery. I want to give people the tools and resources they need to lead full, active lives.”

“I have an athletic background, so I was naturally drawn to sports medicine. I think physical therapy is fascinating because there are so many different techniques that can be used to reach a beneficial outcome. I want to provide the best care possible to patients while making the rehabilitation process enjoyable.
I use a hands-on approach with all my patients, because I firmly believe that patients heal more efficiently when a therapist combines manual techniques with exercise and other modalities. I also pride myself on providing highly personalized care to every patient. I love getting to know my patients and helping them reach their physical potential.”

Is physical therapy (PT) better than steroid injections? A new study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that patients with knee osteoarthritis treated with PT experienced less pain and better physical function after one year than patients who received steroid injections. These findings suggest the benefits of PT for knee osteoarthritis may be more long-lasting than earlier believed.
