Experts in Trigger Point Dry Needling
Our therapists are the most experienced providers of trigger point dry needling in the state of Louisiana as well as certified providers of the Active Release Technique®.
Active Release Technique® (or ART®) is a patented manual therapy technique that corrects soft tissue restrictions that often lead to pain and decreased mobility. The treatment is actually a movement-based massage technique that allows providers to identify and correct the specific problems affecting patients.
Conditions that respond well to ART include repetitive use injuries, frozen shoulder, tendinopathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff pathology, restricted joint motion, and sprains and strains. Typically, a patient will see significant results within just a few visits, and fortunately, results are permanent. ART is not only the treatment of choice for high performance athletes and workers' compensation managers, but also for top sports medicine physicians in the tri-state area.
Our Commitment to Quality Care
We are a quality-care provider, honored to be a part of the Physical Therapy Provider Network (PTPN). This network consists of private practice therapists across the country that sets high standards for their providers, including clinical expertise, professional ethics, and a commitment to maintain independence as providers in order to optimize patient outcomes.
We use Focus on Therapeutic Outcomes (FOTO) to predict patients’ outcomes, giving patients a better understanding of how well treatment will help, as well as manage quality. FOTO helps us ensure our patients achieve a higher level of change in function after treatment.
Direct Access to Physical Therapy
As of June 2016, Louisiana became the 38th state to allow direct access to physical therapy. This means you may seek physical therapy treatment without having to first see a primary care provider, chiropractor, or specialist. We are now able to evaluate whether you need physical therapy and provide the prescribed treatment without a referral.

LATEST PHYSICAL THERAPY RESEARCH
Is physical therapy (PT) better than steroid injections? A new study in the New England Journal of Medicine found that patients with knee osteoarthritis treated with PT experienced less pain and better physical function after one year than patients who received steroid injections. These findings suggest the benefits of PT for knee osteoarthritis may be more long-lasting than earlier believed.
